Helping incarcerated youth, men, women, and their families toward Restoration with God, Recovery from their hurts, hangups and habits, and successful Reentry to the community.

Restoration

Our first and primary purpose is to lead In-Custody youth, adults, and their families toward restorationwith God. Principle 3 of CR is: “Consciously choose to commit all my life and will to Christ’s care and control.” We have discovered through many years of working with In-Custody participants, that a true DNA Celebrate Recovery ministry has a successful approach for restoration by focusing on faith in Christ through the step process. While some in prison will not go to church, or consider major life changes all at once, they will go to a Celebrate Recovery meeting and take it one step at a time.

Recovery

We believe that recovery and discipleship are the same thing. As a Christ-Centered recovery ministry, CR Inside leads participants through the process of spiritual growth including how to spend daily time with God and serve others. CRI also helps participants address issues such as compulsive behaviors, dishonesty, unforgiveness, and inability to trust, that are often part of the pathway to prison, and to relapses after leaving prison. We believe CR Inside is an important resource for youth and adult prison populations because this ministry focuses on the core hurts and hang-ups that keep people from living free and being who God created them to be. One may have an alcohol and drug addiction as well as struggles with anxiety, fear, difficulty in overcoming a history of physical or sexual abuse, or anger and co-dependency issues, all at the same time.

ReEntry

Celebrate Recovery Inside provides incarcerated youths, adults, and their families the best resource for Reentry to the community from the institution. There are now more than 30,000 churches in the US that have a Celebrate Recovery meeting. By connecting InCustody participants with the CR in their local area before they get out, they will be able to build the important sponsors/accountability partners and CR Meeting connections that will
